i want to do mtech,can u plz guide me as to wch branch to take up in mtech?i have done my eng in e&c branch.im confused as to wch branch in mtech has more scope? the branches available in mtech are.......vlsi n embedded design,digital electronics n comm systems,dsp,rf comm.

All these streams are good in own respects. You can select the subject according to your interest. VLSI, embedded systems, Communications, etc are some of the highly demanded subjects among students. In digital electronics, you need to study on topics like logical circuits, digital networks, etc. After the course, you can have jobs with reputed firms like Dell, Whirlpool, etc or can try for a job in teaching sector.

first off all i want know which branch in your b.tech......

if your electronics back ground you can choose VLSI, EMBEDDED,RADDER SYSTEM,digital systems and computers ...

all the above are good in own respects...for e.c.e students..........

if your computer science back ground you can choose computer science ,software engineering,information security.....


all the above are good in own respects...for c.s.e and IT students.....

if your civil engineering back ground you can choose.........
Geo-Technical Engineering,Infrastructural Engineering,Structural Engineering...........

because if you are a m.tech and b.tech in same subject then you will be considered as a master in it but if you suddenly change your stream then it will make your resume look undivided as for different streams
so you should go for same stream which you had in b.tech.

It depends on you, where you want to see yourself in coming years.
Since its a specialized course where you would be studying taking a course and specializing in it.

7.Digital Electronics.

11.Radar Systems.
12.Wireless ATM Networks.

All the courses are in demand and you can get placed on taking any of them.
You can also try to find out which all companies are coming to your campus and accordingly you can take the subjects.

As you told you have done your bachelors with Electronics & Communication stream, and you want to go for higher studies. So according to my opinion you can take Embedded design or Digital Electronics as your stream. These both streams are good and having so many scope in India.
So without any fear go for one of these branch and take admission in a good college or University.
You can also appear for GATE exam to getting admission in top colleges and Universities.
