M.Tech in chemical engineering is the master’s course in chemical engineering and is of 2 year’s duration. Chemical engineering covers all the area of the chemical world. This is a very vast branch where students mainly opt for the research work. In chemical world many unsolved mystery are there which has to be solved. It deals with the chemical aspects of industrial biotechnology and also has massive application in agricultural field.
Eligibility Criteria
One should possess the bachelor’s degree for pursuing M.Tech in chemical engineering. They should have a minimum age of 21 years. The students can opt for M.Tech in chemical engineering after clearing the GATE exam or for abroad studies they have to clear the GRE exam i.e.(graduate record examination).One can also opt for M.Tech in chemical engineering after MSC degree in chemical branch.
Course Outlook
M.Tech in chemical engineering is a 2 year’s course. These 2 years is divided into two parts of one year each and again it is divided into duration of six months called semesters. The syllabus of chemical engineering is made in such a way that the students get knowledge of the latest advancement in chemical technologies.
Job Prospects
M.Tech in chemical engineering has a very huge application in the field of chemical and agricultural industries. So they can join in chemical and agricultural industries. After completion of M.Tech degree in chemical engineering one can also join the research centre as a scientist. The students doing M.Tech in chemical engineering can go for research line as a scientist through DRDO exam (defence research and development organization) which is conducted by the defence.
