Re: Can a 12th passed student appear for Bank Clerk Exams?
For clerical one need to clear 12th class with a minimum percentage of 60%..(or in highest degree)
the above is the qualification required by SBI and hope similar kind of requirement for other banks also... so one must satisfy the above condition in prospectus of qualification... Age limit for clerical : 18 to 28 years but their is relaxation like 3 years in the case of OBC candidates 5 years in the case of SC/ST/Ex-servicemen For physical handicapped person relaxation as given below 10 years for VH/OH (Gen) 13 years for VH/OH (OBC) and 15 years for VH/OH (SC/ST) candidates |

Re: Can a 12th passed student appear for Bank Clerk Exams?
Yes you are eligible for giving Clerk Exams......but your age should be greater then 18..
and you have minimum 60% marks in 12th... I think if you settled your career in the field of Bank...then you should apply after graduation because now you are eligible for only Clerk post...But if you give bank exam after completion of your graduation you are eligible for Bank officer or higher post...so you need to do first Graduation and then go for Bank exams....if you want to give now Bank exam then you are eligible for Clerk post and you know that it takes too much time to go higher post in Banks....so i suggest you if you don graduation and then apply for bank exam then you will get directly higher post... |

Re: Can a 12th passed student appear for Bank Clerk Exams?
Yes of course my friend, for clerk bank exam you just need to pass your h.s.c course with good results or above 55 percent.
Only for P.O. officer recruitment you need to clear your graduation from any science technology or from commerce or from arts or any college etc. Now without taking any tension or risk just apply for clerkcal exam. You just have to read newspaper daily or cultivate the habbit of checking latest update news daily. The bank will inform or advertise on INTERNET,after checking that you just need to fill the form and get qualified. and yup for any other information or any type of question you have, just reply on same.. ok buddy bye.. have a nice day |

Re: Can a 12th passed student appear for Bank Clerk Exams?
Yes. Soon after the completion 10+2, one can appear for the bank clerical exams.
Here i am providing the eligibility criteria for bank clerical exams. -As per academic qualification, one should have completed his 10+2 with a minimum of 60% of marks -The candidate should be in the age group of 18-28 years. - Relaxation is there for the candidates of SC/ST in both percentage of marks and even in age criteria too. -Almost all the public and private sector banks will keep the same eligibility criteria or may be slight differences to this criteria. My suggestion is to go for higher studies rather than appearing for the bank clerical exams. |

Re: Can a 12th passed student appear for Bank Clerk Exams?
You cannot appear for Bank's clerical aptitute examination on the basis of 12th.
To be eligible for the exam, you have to do graduation or higher with any of the stream from a recognised university. Minimu educational qualification required to be eligible for this exam is to be graduate in any of the stream but diffrent bank'd have diffrent eligibility criteria on the basis of percentage of marks scored in graduation. For some exams it would be required to have 40 % marks and may be high as 50% or 60% but most probably it is 40 to 55 %. |
