whether i appear for IPS or no because i am 27 year old please give me suggetions what i want do and i am in final semester engineering

Yes, you can very well appear for Civil Services Exam through which recruitment is done for IPS officers.

To join IPS, you need to write civil service exam conducted by UPSC.

The eligibility criteria:

Educational- Graduate from any recognized university
Age- 21-30 years. 3 years relaxation for OBC
5 years relaxation for SC/ST


So you are eligible and you can surely take up this exam.

If your a candidate from GEN category then you can go through the exam 4 times(attempts) and your eligible for the exam till you attain the age of 30 years.
If your a candidate from SC/OBC/ST categories then you can go through the exam 7 times(attempts) and your eligible for the exam till you attain the age of 33 years if your from OBC,35 years if your from SC/ST category .

Yes, you can appear for IPS entrance exam. Age criteria shown below: -

Age Limits: -

(a) 21 years To 30 years for General Candidates.

(b) The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable:

(i) upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.

(ii) upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.

(iii) upto a maximum of five years if a candidate had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from the 1st January, 1980 to the 31st day of December, 1989.

for general candidate the maximum age limit to appear in IPS examination is 30 years and for SC/ST/PH candidate maximum age limit to appear in IPS examination is 35years.

so according to your age you are eligible for IPS examination. as you are interested for IPS then i will suggest you to appear in the IPS examination. but the competition is very tough in IPS examination as so many students are trying for this. so study more carefully according to the syllabus of IPS. improve your general knowledge, try to go through regularly newspaper.

but if you think after your engineering you will do something different like job in company or further study then also you may go according to your interest.

1)21 years must be completed by the 1st AUGUST of that year,
2)GENERAL-30,OBC-33,SC/ST-35;EX-SERVICEMEN WILL GET 5 YEARS EXEMPTION

yes dude you can. age limit is there upto 30. EVERY ONE CAN WRITE THIS ENTRANCE EXAM BUT AFTER PASSING THIS TEST SO MANY PHYSICAL TEST ARE REQUIRED. YOU BODY SHOULD BE PERFECT AND ALSO YOUR EYE VISION SHOULD BE PERFECT.
THE MAIN THING IS THERE IN WHICH SO MANY PEOPLES ARE GETTING FAILURE IS ROPE TEST SO I ADVISE YOU TO GET A PROPER PRACTICE.

Friend, for IPS examination the maximum age is 30 year. If your age is 27 then you are eligible for the IPS examination. If you are interested in the IPS examination then i advise you to apply for IPS examination. all the best.

I.P.S exam exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Qualification:- Pass graduation with any stream fron recginiced university.

IPS Stands for Indian Police Services.It is conducted by Union Public Service Commission through Civil Services in the every year.

Minimum educational qualification required for IPS Exam is Bachelor degree .There is not require any kind of percentage marks in graduation degree .

Final year of graduation degree candidate are also applicable for IPS Exam.You are from final semester so you are applicable for IPS exam .

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old .Age relaxation is provide as per govt rule .

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.Also you must be citizen of India.
