Yes, B.Tech holders in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering can apply for M.Tech in VLSI Design. Admission to the course is done on the basis of GATE score. Other entrance test like SRMEEE, TANCET, and VITMEE are also conducted for admission. You need to have at least 60% marks in B.tech, to join with IIT/NIT. A centralized counseling process is conducted for admission.
