can a scince graduate i:e Bsc aplly for IIT_JEE ?..please tell me if its true

A B.Sc. graduate is not eligible to apply for IIT JEE as he has already crossed the minimum age.

JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION(JEE) is carried out by the INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY(IIT) for admission in to B.Tech and B. Arch. courses in all IITs.

The eligibility needed by one to write this exam is a pass in standard XII.
Applicants can appear for this exam only twice, that too in the consecutive years.
Applicants must have a both mentally and physique healthy.
Those who are going to give their final exams can apply as well.


To appear in IIT JEE 2012, a candidate must have either passed the QE for the first time, on or after October 1, 2010 or appearing for the first time in 2012. Those who are going to appear in the QE later than September 30, 2012 are not eligible to appear in IIT JEE 2012.

So you are being a B.Sc. graduate is not eligible to apply for IIT JEE.

Bsc graduation students can not apply the IIT JEE because the age limit for the IIT JEE is 19 after 19 years can not apply.


And Maths is mandatory and the student who are applying the IIT JEE.He completed his 12 th from a recognized university

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for IIT-JEE exam.Because consecutive 3 years overs for you.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IIT-JEE :-

1.The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board with physics ,chem and math.

2. You must score 60% above in 12 th.

If you fulfill the above criteria then you are eligible for IIT JEE.

AGE CRITERIA:-

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.

For your information you have two chances of IIT JEE first with 12th and Next year of the 12th.after this you can't apply for IIT JEE exam.

Yes, my friend after completion of B.Sc you can apply for IIT-JEE exam..

Eligibility for IIT-JEE exam:-

1.Candidate has to complete the 12th in science field or any equivalent course from a recognized central/state education board.
Or, candidate has to complete any other higher qualification..

2.Age should not be more than 25 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

3.Candidate should be a citizen of India.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.

So, if your age is less than 25 years then you are eligible for IIT-JEE exam.

1. A candidate have two chances of IIT JEE first with 12th and Next year of the 12th & after this you can't apply for IIT JEE exam.
As You have lost your consecutive years so you are unable to apply for it.

yes ofcourse,you can apply for IIT-JEE with BSc graduation

you can apply for M-TECH 5n IIT-JEE with appering through the gate of exam.

• After GRADUATION, through M.TECH

• GATE EXAM Is needed to be given

• no backlogs in GRADUATION

• NO limit of age

• B.TECH/M.C.A/M.SC

Hence you are not applicable.
