No, you are not eligible to apply. The upper age limit tp apply is 20 years. A minimum of 45% marks in 12th is enough to apply for CLAT. The SC/ST candidates need to have 40% marks only. You can try for 3 year LL.B after completing graduation.

It would not be possible for you to apply for the Common Law Admission Test. The marks in 12th standard will not be the issue. In fact you have sufficient marks for the Common Law Admission Test.

The issue is going to be the age limit. The upper age limit is 20 years for the entrance exam. You have crossed this age limit. Even with the relaxation given to SC/ST, you can not appear for the Common Law Admission Test.

But it does not mean that you can not pursue LLB. But you will have to apply through different procedure. You will first have to complete graduation if you haven't done it already.

You will have the freedom to choose any graduation course. Be it Bachelor of Commerce, Arts or Science. Once you have completed graduation then you should apply for the 3 years LLB course.

While you are not eligible for the 5 years LLB offered through CLAT, you can become eligible for the 3 years LLB after completing graduation. On merit there is no difference between 2 degree courses.

You can take admission in some very good colleges like Delhi University and Banaras Hindu University.

LLB Eligibility

1. You should have a bachelor's degree.

2. With no less than 45 percent marks.

3. For admission in DU, at least 50 percent are required.

4. Ther is 5% relaxation for SC/ST.

5. DU does not have marks criteria for SC/ST.

6. The upper age limit is 30 years for the course.

7. Maximum of 5 years relaxation is given to SC/ST.

8. There is no relaxation for OBC.
