dear friend,

candidates belonging to GE, OBC and DS categories must secure at least 60% marks and candidates belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination

so you are eligible for WBJEE exam.

all the best

Hey,
sorry freind you can't appear for iitjee 2012 because there requirement for 12th class percentage is 60% in pCM.

so i suggest you onwe thing you go for 12th exam once more from open school and also do coaching for iitjee also.

good luck

Dear friend..i am extremely sorry but you cannot appear for IIT-JEE as the minimum criteria for appearing in IIT-JEE is 60% aggregate or above in PCM in class 12th but since you do not meet the requirement hence it is not possible for you to appear for the exam..

Solution to your problem :-
The only possible solution that can be to your problem is that you give an improvement exam in the subjects in which you have got less than 60% and fare better this time..this is the only thing that can be done now..

~Hope this helps.. ~

With Warm Regards

According to IIT:
Candidates belonging to GE and OBC categories must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in 12th. SC, ST and PD candidates must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in 12th.

So to be more spesific you are eligible for JEE as nothing has been told about the specific marks in PCM.

So continue your preparation for JEE 2012.

For IIT-JEE

your qualifying exam for IIT-JEE will be

* If you are 12th class passout or appearing
* else if you are diploma passout or appearing...

Either of these qualification will be consider...

One must score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate that is 60% overall percentage including Physics, chemistry and Maths in your qualifying exam for GENERAL AND OBC..and 55% for SC/ST,PD...

That mean it required 60% in aggregate so you are eligible as you have 79%..

Sorry friend,
If you are a general or OBC candidate then you are not eligible to appear in IITJEE exam.
To be eligible you should have minimum 60% aggregate as well as 60% in PCM too.
If you are SC/ST then a relaxation of 5% in both cases will be given to you.
thank you and all the best....
