No , you are not eligible to apply for Bank Probationary Officer examination .

To apply for PO Exam then you have to completed your graduate degree with any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and you must secure at least 60% aggregate marks in your examination and relaxation is applicable for reserved categories .

And diploma is not equivalent to graduate degree . So according to your qualification , you are not eligible to apply for Probationary Officer examination . But you are eligible to apply for Clerks examination .

Minimum Qualification need for the clerks examination is that candidate have to holding the Intermediate(12th) of a recognized School or equivalent qualification and you must score at least 60% aggregate marks in their ( 55% aggregate marks for reserved categories ) .

Top Bank clerks examination is IBPS examination and this examination is conducted for recruitment of 19 Public Sector Banks . But there is no notification , you can except the notification in the month of July OR August .

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Clerks :-

You must have a holding the + 2 exam with any discipline of a recognized Institute or equivalent qualification and you must score at least 60% aggregate marks ( No marks is required for reserved categories ) . Those who have passed their graduate degree may also eligible to apply . Age should have attained the minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years of age and Upper age limits is applicable .

you are not eligible for Bank clerk exam. Your 10th percentage is good enough but the aggregate marks of 10th are hardly considered for the exam. In fact in most of the cases only criteria for eligibility is based one the aggregate percentage of 12th.

The age limit is usually set from 18 years to 28 years. however some relaxation in the upper age limit is provided for Schedule caste, schedule tribe and OBC candidates.

You can join after your graduation also.
For SBI clerk exam the eligibility criteria is-

- The candidate must have passed intermediate with a minimum of 60% However a relaxation of 5 % is given to SC/ST/PWD candidates
or
the candidate must have passed graduation with 40% marks However a relaxation of 5 % is given to SC/ST/PWD candidates.
or
The candidate must have passed diploma with 60% marks after 10th

The eligibility criteria for IBPS clerk exam for age is the same however the educational qualifications are different.

Sorry to say but distance education class 10 standard is not applicable for bank PO or probationary examinations. Do not be upset at all. Since already you have distance degree and the knowledge for that, why don't you go for a distance education BBA or BCA course.The former is Bachelor in Business Administration course and deals with business knowledge and commerce knowledge. This I am mentioning if you have an inclination towards commerce genre. Then you get jobs in consultancy firms or accounts company or business sectors. If you have an inclination towards technical genre then BCA or Bachelor in Computer Application genre. Here you will be able to join a corporate sector as their official programmer or technical associate. So that way if you choose any of these, then you will get a brighter future than in banking.
