Hi,
This is Parvind Kumar Sharma MCA student and got 70% and got backlog in 1st semester but cleared by 3rd semester.
Some companies like IBM ask for 70% in mca/b.tech but no backlogs/backpapers.Can I apply if the criteria is somewhat like the aked in my case.

There are few companies in India which do not recruit the
candidates if they have any back log in future. Such company's
are:

IBM
Infosys Technologies Ltd.
Wipro Technologies Ltd.
Satyam Computer Services Ltd.

So you are not eligible to apply in such company's if you have any
back log.

But there are other top companies also which recruit candidates
if they have any back log in future. But note one thing that
company will not recruit if you have any current backlog.
All the back log should be cleared before interview.
So you can apply in the company's mentioned below even after
having any back log in future.

L&T Infotech Ltd.
Polaris Software Lab Ltd.
Hexaware Technologies Ltd.
Mastek Ltd.
Mphasis BFL Ltd.
Siemens Information Systems Ltd.
Genpact
i-Gate Global Solutions Ltd.
Flextronics Software Systems Ltd. (Standalone for FSS)
NIIT Technologies Ltd.

So you can apply in these companies if you have any backlog
in future. But note one thing that no current back should be there
if you are applying for these company's.

Not all top companies say no to backlog students. Only criteria is to clear it before your interview date .You can very well try in companies like HCL & Wipro .All the best for ur future.

If you do not have any current backlogs then you are surely eligible for many software companies, there are only some companies which require no backlog in overall semester, but there are many other fine companies which do not have such a criteria like -
1) Tata Consultancy Services
2) Wipro
3) Infosys
4) Satyam Computer Services
5) HCL Technologies
6) Tech Mahindra
7) Patni Computer Systems
8) i-flex Solutions
9) MphasiS
10) L&T Infotech
so i suggest you can go for them.
basically this are all primary elimination stages, if you make it through written and Group Discussion in their recruitment and made it to interview and currently do not have any backlog, surely they will consider you.
so dont worry and make good preparations for the written exam and group discussion part.

No, The Backlogs Students Are Not Eligible To Apply For Jobs In Top Companies Like Wipro, Infosys. Because These Top Companies Was Not Recruit The Backlogs Students.

For The Top Companies, You Have To Passed Your Course Without Any Backlogs.

But Dont Worry, Because There Are Many Companies, Who Recruits The Backlogs Students, If They Clear Their Backlogs.

You Have Scored Good Marks In Your MCA Course, Then You Are Eligible To Apply For Jobs In Some Good Companies. So, Please Work Hard, Improve Your Communication Skills And GD To Get Good Jobs In Some Good Companies.

Because In These Days Every Companies Recruits Students After Crack the Aptitude Test And GD. So, Please Concentrate More In Your GD Skills And Practice The Aptitute Questions Regularly, Then Defintely You Will get Good Jobs In future.

I am very sorry to inform you that you are not eligible to apply as a fresher in top companies as they recruit only those students , who don't have any backlogs in past .Since you have a backlog ,you are not eligible to apply for these companies.



But don't loose hope there are so many other companies which recruit students like you but remember "you shouldn't have any backlog at the time of interview .Means you will have to clear your backlogs before interview "
You have enough marks and the most important is knowledge today. If you have good knowledge in your subject then you will definitely get a good job in top companies sooner or later.
In your case i will suggest you to try for a job in some minor companies first and after gaining some experiance apply in top companies .They will surely recruit you and too with good salary package.

Dear friend there is some company which is not allow to seat in campus placement.................

IBM is not take backlog students because it is a big company and there is some criteria that's why he can't take........

but in on-campus placement no criteria then you can sit in any company..........

that's why don't take tension if you have talent then anyone can't stop to you.........................

so prepare for interview and take the job.......................

Backlogs are wrongly interpreted by most of us.
When the companies say they do not permit students with backlogs then it means that students with pending backlogs are not eligible.

So if you have cleared your backlogs, then its not an issue, and you can confidently apply in the company of your choice.

Now as you are saying that you have a backlog in 1st semester which you have cleared in the third semester, then there is no problem at all.You can apply in any company and you are eligible.

sorry but you are not elligible for those companies.
But you can go for other companies which are allowing the students having maximum 1 backlog.

yes,you are eligible to apply for any company but before applying you need to clear all your backlogs.

The Backlogs students are not eligible to apply for jobs in top companies like Wipro, Tcs, Infosys.
But Dont worry because there are some companies , who recruits the backlog students if they clear the backlogs during their completion of course.
You have scored good marks in your course so you are eligible to get good job in good companies.

There are many companies which will accept the backlogs. Dont worry. Even some companies will accept non cleared backlog.

I got placed in mahindra satyam(In college recriutment drive)and i have a backlog,They have given me the reporting date but i am still waiting for my supplementary results can i join the company?

IBM JOB CRITERIA:-

1) through out 65% and in your 10th, 10+2 th.
2) you have score atleast 70% in b-tech , mca.
3) backlog are not allowed.
4) one year gape are allowed in career.

you have to cleared the backlog then you are eligible for IBM.

Dear friend,
Yes you can start attending interviews for recruitment after 3rd year B.tech.
But the eligiblity criteria are:

1. more than 60% till 3rd year
2.no standing arrears or backlogs.
3. above 55% in 12th and above 60% in 10th

If you are these criteria then you can attend interviews.
