Sir, I do intermediate with commerce. Can i apply for polytecnic. I want to make my carrier in polytecnic. Is it is useful for me.

You have completed 10th standard so you are eligible for Polytechnic entrance exam

Those candidates who have passed matriculation/10th with Mathematics, Physical Science & English from Central or State Board recognized by Govt are eligible for diploma admission.

Your age should be below 21 years old.

Yes.You can apply for Polytechnic Course eventhough you have completed your 12th class with commerce stream.

Higher Education
Degree Engineering (B.E)
After completion of Diploma , You can continue your study in bachelor in engineering.For that , You will have to qualify the entrance exam which conducted by concern university.

Master In Engineering (M.E)
After completion of B.E , You can continue your study in M.E.For that , You will have to qualify the entrance exam GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering)

Yes you are eligible for writing polytechnic entrance exam after completing 12th with commerce stream.

The entrance exam is be conducted once in a year by the state governments of India.
After passing the entrance exam, you can do
1. Diploma in engineering
2. Diploma in pharmacy
3. Diploma in architecture courses

For appearing for polytechnic exam :
1. A candidate must complete either 10th or 12th.
2. There is no marks percentage bar in 12th.
3. The maximum age limit for doing diploma is 21 years.
4. There is age relaxation for SC/ST candidates up to 3 years

Polytechnic course is a diploma degree with the duration of three years. The basic eligibility criteria for this course is to have successfully passed in the class 10th with mathematics and science subjects.


As you are telling that you are doing 11th class that means you must have done the 10th class.So definitely you are eligible for this diploma degree course.
