When I am doing my schooling my dad gave SC, but exactly mine is Gowda if I change my cast legally after applying for SI posting it will give an impact? or else I can change it? Can you please suggest me the right step next? Thank you!

No, you cannot change your caste in order to apply for a particular post because it is illegal and if you get qualified then during the clarification of the documents you will be caught in doing so and your candidature will be cancelled.
