Let us discuss about the eligibility criteria of admission in the b.tech course in AIME and then we will come to the conclusion that whether you are eligible or not-

> You should have done your 3 year diploma from a AICTE approved college. The branch doesn't matter. Therefore if you fulfill this then you can apply for matterlurgy even if you had diploma of mechanical branch.

> Another is that you should have completed intermediate with at least 45% marks. Since you do not belong to this one condition so we won't be discussing about this.

So, concluding, you can definitely apply for the b.tech in AIME.
