i am student of m.sc. biotechnology.i want to do m.tech. can i do it? [if yes] what kind of entrance exam or with out entrance can i do it? .if i do m.tech so what job future in that field.

You can join M.Tech by qualifying GATE. M.Tech degree can be selected in Biotechnology, or Industrial Biotechnology, or Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. After completion of the course, you can find a rewarding job in teaching sector. CECRI, HLL, etc are some other firms where you can apply for jobs. Research Assistant positions are available with NIT and IIT.

• Yes you can do M.Tech after passing M.Sc biotechnology
  
• You must write GATE exam to join M.Tech
• You can do M.tech courses in biotechnology, biomedical etc
• GATE exam is conducted in the month of Feburary , the application forms will be available before 2 - 3 months only
• There is no restriction in writing GATE exam
• Even the GATE score card is valid for 2 years
• You can take admission only after passing all the subjects in M.Sc
• If you have any backlogs then no college will give admission

Hi can some one provide me placement report for mtech biotechnology from iit? It would also be helpful if some one provide highest, average and lowest placement in mtech biotechnology from iit.
