Can I get admission in Anna University for pursuing BE or B.Tech Automobile Engineering after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai? Requirements to get admission?


Respected Sir, My name is Nikhil and I am doing my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic Mumbai, Maharashtra. I want make my future studies in Automobile Engineering so I need the information regarding Automobile Engineering. I want to know whether I can get admission in Anna University for my future studies in B.E / B.Tech Automobile Engineering. Please let me know the requirements for Diploma candidate to get admission in the University.

Yes, you can complete your B.tech in Automobile engineering from Anna university after completing diploma in Mechanical engineering.

You are eligible to do the B.tech in Automobile engineering.

There are following eligibility for B.tech in Automobile engineering.

^ You should have a diploma in Mechanical/Automobile engineering.
^ You should have to qualify the entrance exam conducted by the Anna University.
^ You should have knowledge about the automobile works.
^ You should have good communication skill.

If you meet the above eligibility, then you can apply for the B.tech course.

Yes, diploma in Mechanical Engineering candidate are eligible for B.Tech in Automobile Engineering.

Those candidates who have completed diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a recognized University are eligible for B.Tech course in Anna University through lateral entry exam.

Your age should be above 18 years.
