Re: Can I get age relaxation for Bank PO and Clerk Exams being a candidate of General category and Government Employee from January 2006?
I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to appear for Bank PO and Clerk Exams as Government Employees will not be given any age relaxation for Bank PO or Clerk Exams.
Have a look over the required age criteria for the candidates to appear for Bank Clerk Exams. -One should be in the age group of 18-28 years. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category. In order to be eligible for Bank PO Exams : -A candidate of General category should be in the age group of 21-30 years. -Relaxation will be there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category. -For the candidates of Ex-serviceman, relaxation will be given in upper age limit upto 5 years. -For the candidates with Physical Disabilities, relaxation will be given in upper age limit upto 10 years. As you are a candidate from General category with an age of 32 years, you are not eligible to appear for Bank PO Exams. However, you doing Government Job. I don't know the reason why you are willing to shift to Bank Jobs. I suggest you to perform well in the Government job which you are performing now. Sooner or later your performance will be recognized and you will be promoted to higher levels if you perform well. Wish you all the best. |
