If you have completed 12th standard then you are applicable for one UPSC exam like NDA exam.

But others upsc exams required graduation degree .Only one exams is for 12th standard.

The NDA examination is conducted by UPSC for the admission in the Army,Naval wing and Air wing of the NDA.The examination is conducted twice in a year.

The eligibility Criteria for the NDA examination is that a candidate has passed class 12th or equivalent.Class 12th appearing students are also eligible for the examination.Age of the candidate should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

you are eligible for the upsc exams only for NDA after 12th class.
because all other UPSC exam require graduation .
NDA has three stream:
1.Indian Army
2.Indian Air Force
3.Indian Navy

i want to tell you that if you are a arts student then you are eligible only for the INDIAN ARMY.
Because for AIR FORCE & INDIAN NAVY the student should be from science stream.

Eligibility for NDA :
Educational Qualifications:

1.For Army wing of National Defence Academy:
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

2.For Air Force and Navy Wings:
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

"Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination".

Age Limits:

• Candidate born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st January, 1996.

Important dates for NDA II exam:
• Date of Notification: 5th May 2012
• Last Date of Receipt of Applications: 4th June 2012
• Date of commencement of Examination: 19th August 2012
• Duration of Examination: 1 Day

After completion of 12th you can apply for the NDA exam conducted by UPSC...
Nda exam(only male candidates are eligible) is conducted twice every year in April and in August..

for exam in april the notification will be in December which is already over this year...

the second exam will be conducted on 19th August this year...(sunday)...

one more thing .... NDA exam is not an easy one to crack...

it needs a lot of dedication and knowledge...

you can't get a seat in upsc exams like IAS,IPS,IFS, which are infact a higher standard exams which can be attempted only when you have a graduation.but there are few important and valuable exams that can be attempted after 12th standard..... like
UPSC SCRA AND UPSC NDA(1) AND UPSC(2) exams. i do mention u here the important dates of this exams..
the first one, scra has been finished in the very beginning of the year....

dear friend.
the minimum eligibility criteria for upsc exams is 50% in graduation from a recognized university. since you have passed your +2 right now so you are not eligible for that. if you want to really do it then first of all go for your bachelor degree an p.t start your prepration for the upsc also. you will have to work very hard to clear all levels of these exams.
for initial stage you can read the unique book for the p.t and pratiyogita darpan magazine with that, after the p.t you will have to elect two papers for the main exams you can opt any of them depending your knowledge and skills.

- The UPSC conducts a lot of examinations throughout the
year,but with Class 12th qualification,you can appear for
the NDA and SCRA exams.

>> The NDA Exams are conducted twice in an year by the

sorry but every one says that you have to start your preparation OK.. but with what.... after 12th the students may seek necessary information about the UPSC... i.e everthing related to UPSC exams which can be appeared after graduation (Bachelor degree)
