Hello friend,
As you have mentioned about your qualification, you won't be eligible to join Indian Air Force. For Indian Air Force, you must have studied Physics and 12th standard. However, candidates who do not belong to science stream, are also considered eligible provided the candidate is a graduate in Commerce, Law, Arts etc, with a minimum of 60% marks. Such candidates are recruited in the administrative branch, accounts branch and Logistics.

After completing your 12Th examination, If your aim is to Join Indian Air force, the for this you have to apply for the NDA Examination.

NDA : National Defence Academy

This examination is Conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Comission), Twice in a year and the Recruitment of NDA will be based on these 3 wings :

>> Army wings
>> Naval Wings
>> Air Force Wings.

To apply for Air force and Naval Wings, you must have completed your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects.

Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination.

But, You have completed your 12Th examination with Humanities, So you are Not eligible for Air force Wings.

So, You are Only eligible to apply for Army wings of NDA.

But, If your aim is to join Air Force, then please complete your Graduate degree course with minimum 60% marks and then you are eligible to apply for AFCAT Ground Duty Branch and apply for administrative and Logistics Branch, So you have only the Option to Join Air force through AFCAT, So please complete your Graduation first and then you are eligible to apply for AFCAT Examination and if you need more Information then please check official website :

You are not eligible to join Indian Air Force having completed 10+2 with Humanities as for Air Force you need to complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

But you can join India Army with your qualification through appearing in NDA exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to three wings of NDA for which you should have completed 10+2 from any stream from a recognised State/Central Board with age group between 16.5 years to 19 years of age.

But if you are really interested for Indian Air Force then you should complete your graduation degree and appear for the CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam conducted by UPSC twice every year.

Yes , You have completed 12th standard so you are eligible only NDA exam.Details about NDA exam is given below.

Eligibility criteria:-

For Army wing:-
The candidate must have complete the 12th with 60% marks..

For Navy:-
The candidate must have complete the 12th with physics , chemistry , maths with 60% marks..

For Air force:-
The candidate must have complete the 12th with physics , maths..

Age criteria:-

The age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

N.D.A Exam Date,2012 :-

Date of Notification : 31.12.11

Last date for receipt of application : 30.01.12

As you mentioned your subject is Humanities ,so you are not eligible for Air force wings.

But you are eligible for army wings of Army.

The examination is given by NDA (National Defense Academy)

If you are interested in Air force so complete your Graduation.

You are not Eligible for Joining air force after 12th with Humanities But you can join it by completing your graduation and giving AFCAT exam.

With this qualification you can join Indian Navy, these forms are available to you last of may or in start of June.For more detail see Indian navy official website.

No, you can't join Indian Air Force After Passing 12th with humanities stream.

If you really want to join Air Force you can join after your graduation.
For this you have to qualify the COMBINE DEFENCE SERVICES (C.D.S)

C.D.S exam is conduced by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass graduation with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-19-24 year
> Medically fit

There are 3 steps of selection:-
-Written exam.
-Interview
-medical exam.

Hello sir, i have completed my plus two in humanities. But am completed my diploma in telecommunication and am also studied the science stream such as physics, chemistry and mathematics. Then can i join in airforce??i expect you sir the answer

Yes, you can join Indian air force as airmen if you have passed your class 12th with humanities stream.

You can apply for Airmen 'Y' group. The eligibility criteria for the same are:-

1)Age limit:- 17 to 21 years
2)minimum 60% aggregate in class 12th from any stream.
