Dear Sir/Madam, I have got admission for Intermediate course and I have chosen PCM stream only. My aim is to join Indian Army. So, I want to know that with PCM stream in Intermediate, can I join Indian Army?

You cannot immediately join Indian Army while pursuing Intermediate with PCM stream.

However, you can appear for NDA Exam that is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

You will have to appear for NDA exam and then qualify two stages i.e.

• Written Exam
• SSB Interview

After this, there will be proper training and you will be joining Indian Army.

Yes, you can join Indian Army with 10+2 with PCM.

You can join Indian Army through NDA. NDA stands for National Defense Academy. This examination is conducted by UPSC every year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCM as a main paper from a recognized board.

Candidate age must be 16.5 to 19.5 years.

Candidate must be an unmarried male candidate.

The eligibility criteria is candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCM as a main paper from a recognized board. Candidate age must be 16.5 to 19.5 years. Candidate must be an Unmarried Indian Male candidate.

So, yes you are eligible for Indian Army.
