Can i join in navy after 12th...please give me some tips regarding that ..

If you have done 10+2 with Physics Chemistry and Maths then you can join Indian Navy
through any one of the following two entry schemes. You should apply for both the entry schemes if you are eligible. N.D.A. & N.A. Examination The examination is conducted by UPSC twice a year generally. The selection process includes a written exam and an SSB interview. Written exam consists of questions from Mathematics, English, General Science and General Knowledge subjects. The written test qualified candidates are called for SSB inteview. The SSB qualified students get admission in National Defence Academy for Pretraining. After completion of Pretraining and completion of B.Sc. degree those candidates who opt for Indian Navy, are sent to Naval wing of defence. There is no percentage restriction for NDA&NA examination. All 10+2 passed students are eligible for the exam but those who wish to go in Indian Navy through this exam, must have studied Phy, Chem and Maths. subjects in 10+2. The age limitation is 16.5 to 19 years. Refer: http://upsc.gov.in/ 10+2 B.Tech. Cadet Entry This entry scheme is exclusively for entry in Indian Navy. The students, selected through this entry scheme undergo a B.Tech. course under Indian Naval Academy. One should have at least 70% marks in aggregate in Phy, Chem and Maths. subjects in 12th board examination. Additionally candidates are required to have scored at least 50% marks in English subject either 10th or in 12th board examination The age limitation to apply for this is 17-19.5 years. ![]() ![]() hai, Indian Navy is one of the wing in NDA(National Defense Academy).This NDA exam is conducted by UPSC.There is no percentage restriction for NDA exam. NDA exam has three wings they are Indian Army,Indian Navy,Indian Airforce. The Candidate should be 12th passed from any recognized University or State Board. For Indian Navy the candidate should be with Maths,Physics,Chemistry in 12th standard. The age limit is 16.5 to 19 years. The selection Process is Written exam and Personal Interview for this Indian Navy The minimum height for male candidates 157 c.m. with corelated weight and some of the Eye sight is 6/60,6/60. regards.......santhosh........ |

Hi,
Yes, you are eligible to apply for Indian navy through NDA exam. NDA - National Defence Academy conducts exam for - Air Force, Navy and Army. Eligibility criteria for NDA exam- 12th pass with Physics and Maths from a recognised board with 50% marks. Age should be between 16.5 - 19 years. Unmarried male candidates only can apply. Stages of NDA exam - There are three stages of theis exam - 1. Written exam 2. Interview 3. Medical examination So, you can apply for NDA exam and join Indian Navy. |

Yes, Sure you can join in Indian Navy with 12th standard But, first you can satisfy some eligibilities which is Required for Indian Navy If you wan Join Indian Navy first you can appear for NDA Examination NDA stands National Defence Academy, This examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice NDA have 3 wings Indian Air Force Indian Army Indian Navy Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination >> Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM subjects from any recognized institution >> Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years >> Candidates should be a citizen of India >> Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this Examination Selection Procedure ** Written Examination ** Medical Test ** Interview Test All the best.........
