Re: Can I write IBPS exam while studying final year B.E?
You can appear for the entrance exams by Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS) but only after completing bachelor course. Although I don't think banking exam is the right path for a engineering graduate.
You can get better job opportunities in the Public Sector Undertaking. What is the point of doing banking job. If you were interested in banking job then why studied engineering. It makes no sense. The right path for you would be to apply for Public Sector Undertaking exam if interested in government job. You can also apply for the Indian Engineering Service exam however that would depend on your engineering stream. For PSU job you will need minimum of 60 percent marks in engineering course. Each PSU conducts a entrance exam which includes a written test. However some PSUs don't take written test. Instead candidates have to appear for GATE entrance exam. So I will suggest you to appear for GATE entrance exam as well. In case you are still interested in banking job, please only apply for the IBPS Bank PO and not Clerk exam. Below is the eligibility criteria. Eligibility 1. Candidate should be Indian citizen. 2. Must have bachelor degree in any discipline. 3. There is no percentage criteria. 4. The age limit is 20 to 30 years for Bank PO. 5. Upto 3 years relaxation is given to OBC. 6. SC/ST get 5 years relaxation. 7. upto 10 years relaxation for Person with Disability. |
