can a student doing his enggineering from a ugc approved colleges can apply for goverment jobs

Yes he/she can apply for the government job providing that he/she should be a student of final year or should have completed his/her engineering degree.

After this a student can apply in many of the government jobs, following are some of them:


1. Probationary officer in banking sector.

2. teacher in government schools

3. Civil Services

4. Indian Railways

5. IB(intelligence bureau)

Gov jobs basic requirement is the pass with a bachelor's degree from a recognised college.

u r eligible for appearing in the exams for all the gov sector jobs provided that u hav the minimum pass percentage.

the min pass percentage varies but generally is about 50-60% aggregate!!

the following sectors might interest u.

1.Central gov jobs.

2.Railways

3.civil services (IAS,IPS, etc)

4.defense

hi, i m persuing b.tech from a ugc recommended university, some one say that i can'nt apply for the government job in engineering....is it true?

can a student doing his DME from UGC approved colleg can apply for B.E for mumbai univ or he can aplly for gov. jobs like central or stategov

sir, its pleasure to listen that a ugc student can apply for government job ....but there is a big contradiction related this matter....some says one can not apply govt. job doing his engineering from ugc...........m just confuse
