Can an IT student get a job after passing IES exam?

IES stands for Indian Engineering Services and this is not for IT branch student then how can you apply IES may be there is a way but in my opinion IT Student can not apply IES so no hope ..

But anyhow if you cleared this exam then 100% you will get placement/job.

As per the rule only those who have completed engineering in the specified stream are eligible. These include E&C, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. So any of the candidates who are not from this stream cannot apply. If you are still interested in Government job you must be on the lookout for notifications regarding the same. You do have the option to apply for tests like IAS.

Age relaxations exist as per Govt. rules.

You must be a graduate in Engineering from a recognized university.

HI,
I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for I.E.S exam after passing B.Tech in I.T branch.

All the student who pass engineering in following branch are eligible for exam:-

1.Civil Engineering
2.Electrical Engineering
3.Mechanical engineering.
4.Electronics and Communication Engineering.
