Can a student not having GATE score apply for M.Sc engineering? Is there any other tests in IIT's for M.Sc or PhD engineering admissions?

i have a question that A non gate score student can apply for msc engg???? He or She can appear the written test of msc engg??? if no then what is the other test in iits to enter in msc or phd eengg??? what shall we do???? plz reply |

If doing M.Sc.CS in distance mood can i apply for phd in IIT's through GATE. If i get good marks in GATE.

after completing MSc computer science i want to do PhD.Im OBC.Now age, 36.JRF/GATE/any other exam will help me to do PhD with scholarship?
