Can we get into IIMs by any other ways except CAT? can you please reply

there is no other way to get into IIM's

except CAT entrance

that is the reason why it is known for its rigor...

it is too tough to achieve because the fruits given by it are also amazing that is the reason it has overwhelming competition..

anyways the institutes do not have any management quota under the education act passed by congress govt.

Even how rich you are and what is the status you have to clear the entrance CAT

this is for sure

So try hard and make into IIM's this is all i can tell you

IIM conducts different programs like Post Graduate Course, Executive Programs, Fellow programs etc. To get admission into the IIM the most common way is to crack CAT. There are some other scores which IIM take into consideration. GMAT, GRE etc. are some of those exams but these are for foreign students. One thing you need to understand that IIMs select candidates for the next round based on the Entrance tests only.

does a lecturer with 2 years of experience is considered as work experience and getting 98 percentile in CAT can get into IIM's or any other best B-schools?

after tenth is it necessary to take commerce or v can take science and do it???? and what do we have to do after tenth for IIM????

Does all IIMS require CAT score for doing MBA in their institute

The admissions for management studies into IIM's are happened only on the basis of CAT exam.

You must appear for the CAT exam and get a high percentile result to take admission in one of the IIM's for MBA.

A 99 percentile result means that you are in top one percent of the qualifying candidates. Many students appear for CAT exam from all around the country. You must get a high percentile result to get admission in IIM's.

There is no other ways to take admission in IIMs except CAT.

Dear Friend,
No it is not possible to directly take admission in IIMs without appearing in the CAT examination.CAT examination is the entry test of the IIMs.One who want to take admission in the IIM should have to face the CAT examination which is followed by group discussion and personal Interview.

Sorry to say that,there is no other way to get into IIMs without giving CAT exam.So make sure you secure good rank in this exam and got admitted in the IIM.

In IIMs you can only enter on the basis of your performance in the CAT Exam
there is no other way to enter

You can prepare for CAT exam.If you will prepare hard then you can easily get clear the exam and will get admission in IIM
jOIN a good coaching centre for your prepartion they will provide you all the study material nad test papaers for practice

i'm in Ghana and how do i take the CAT exams or is there any alternate or equivalent test i can take to be eligible for IIM admissions

The only ticket to enter the IIM is CAT score. I am afraid but there is no other way you can seek admission in them since its they only conducts the CAT Examination. With this score apart from the IIM's you can also apply in other top B-Schools as well which accepts the CAT score.

CAT Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

Full form of CAT is Common Admission Test and this exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management in turns. This is an online test which is generally conducted in the month of October-November during a 3-4 weeks window. There is multiple exam centres all over India where this exam is conducted.

CAT exam is given to pursue MBA and other such management programmes. Since MBA is a post graduate course therefore the basic eligibility criteria required to apply for this exam is a graduate degree. The degree can be attained in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university.

At graduation level you need to have 50% of marks in aggregate.
In case you are a SC/ST/DA/PWD candidate then you need to get 45% of marks in aggregate. For the reserved category candidates there is a 5% relaxation.

Even final year candidates can also apply for this exam who are about to sit for their final qualifying exam or is waiting for their results to come out. But at the time of interview they must have passed the qualifying exam as they will have to show the mark sheets at that point of time for verification.

Exam Pattern:-

-Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation- 30 Questions- 70 mins
-Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning- 30 Questions- 70 mins
