My basic qualification is plustwo commerce.Now am working at Thyseen company at soudi.I wish to do a correspondance/distance education /or online B-tech course specialised in Information Technology under one of the affiliated college in india.so help me to find our those colleges that offer correspondance in B-tech and the admission procedure

dear there are many some universties which offers B.TECH by distance education.

IGNOU,DELHI
ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY
OSMANIA UNIVERSITY
BHARATHIER UNIVERSITY
VINAYAKA UNIVERSITY etc.

But here I advise you that if you have no problem to take B.TECH degree in regular college

or univ. then first preffer regular B.TECH. because in some private and also in some govt

companies B.TECH through distance education is not eligible. so first prefer regular mode of

B.TECH.

Annamalai university ,Thapar university, SRI Venkateswara College Chennai, Deccan HeraldVishala Karnataka Correspondence College, Ganga Nagar, Bangalore,IGNOU.,Osmania university., Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University are some of the colleges offering B.tech correspondence course. The eligibility criterion is same as it is for the regular course. Candidates should pass 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) with at least 50% marks. You can download the the application form from university website and send to the college with registration fees. You can get the study material online or through post. The teaching method will be through audio tapes, video conferencing or sending study material through post.

There are several colleges providing b-tech in correspondence such as jawaharlal nehru technological university,some of the anna universities and most of the deemed universities you have to get the application form for corresspondance and you have to apply. possibilities of getting seats will depend on your percentage.

You can go for IIT, Bombay which offers Distance Education through CDEEP
Centre for Distance Engineering Education Programme.

Lot of branches/streams of Engineering are available to be pursued by Correspondence.

Apart from Distance Learning, they provide Live Webcast lectures also which is free of cost.

IGNOU offers B.Tech (Civil) in Construction Management,
in Water Resource Engineering
in Computer Science
Kota Open University offers B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Communication.


Birla Institute of Technology offers B.Tech in certain specific streams only

Admissions are generally you should have obtained pass in +2 with 55% , marks in aggregate. Correspondece course does not require any entrance tests.

IGNOU
ANNA UNIVERSITY
SIKKIM MANIPAL UNIVERSITY

Hello,

Every college/university has lateral entry procedure.
They offers admission on the basis of marks of the students. For direct and correspondence admission in B.tech you may consult to the admin of that college you are interested.
