Dear sir
I am a mechanical engineering student(of mechanical branch under nagpur university).i m getting 55 percent till my 7th sem.can u suggest me the name of any companies in which I can apply.

dont worry dear there are so many companies INFOSYS , WIPRO,TCS , AND MANY MORE MNC HAVE A NICE FUTURE..............

As in todays era where competition has no end companies are looking for the candidates who are ^) throughout as per me industries utam galwa is only one which is not looking for criteria so prepare for that.

Many companies coming for campus recruitment require at least 60% throughout the applicant’s educational life. So a score of less than 60% in btech might pose some problems for you. You may not get good job in top companies

But then there are companies which require less than 60% (mostly 50% or 55%) as a cut off for appearing in campus recruitment.

You should go through the minimum educational requirement of companies coming for campus placement & ensure that you fulfill all the criteria before applying.

You can try in these companies:
BHEL
Mecon limited
BEL
Bokaro steel plant

there are many companies which can accept graduates with less marks but

they conduct their own test you have to qualify that in order to get in there

u have visit local ahemdabad company for starting your job...after thet u wll go further...because u have to take expirience first after that u willgo in mnc also because after some expirince big company wont consider your percentage

many of the MNC company recruit student only those have minimum of 60% marks throughout the career.

but unfortunately if you are unable to maintain minimum of 60% marks then you will not get chance into those leading company.

one thing you may get less than 60% in one semester.but you have to maintain 60% in your B.Tech.

if you are unable then also do not worry. try to get job in small company. after that you may try for leading company with your work experience through walk in interview.

Those companies are related to CSE or IT stream but not for Mechanical...

dont upset,prepare yourself very well for campusing...

Don't worry there are many companies which offers job to students like you. but they conduct exam and interview as well. after clearing both you can get job in these companies. BPO and BOKARO STEEL PLANT

there is companies like Uttam galwa and many more small scale companies where you may apply. and if you fell like doing PG degree then it will be a good option because companies ask percentage of the higher degree like Mtech and the minimum marks they ask for is 55% in maximum companies.

There are many companies in the market for applying you to job for less than 55% marks in Graduation.
Some private companies are:

What matters is knowledge not marks...yes, scoring good marks is necessary but that doesn't mean that if you haven't scored 70 or 80% then you won't get job.There are many companies where you are eligible to work.Even you can sit in many exams conducted by government sectors.

1)Don't worry friend,have positive attitude ,you have last exam Left out, in that you easily score Mark from Project side and less number of Subject,so it is easy target to get the More average in the last semester


2)After you finish the Studies ,go for some core company and join in the contact and work for 3 to 4 year then gain the knowledge from there at Field side, with that experience you can easily join the good company

3)There are some company wanted for Engineering student , any they won't consider mark like BPO and KPO

I don't know your name but I am telling you do not worry even if you have the less percentage, its not a matter in today's world if you have the core subject knowledge.ya I know that it's a entry level criteria to get in to top mnc companies.But even if you don't you can try with some small companies in the beginning gain the real time knowledge, which is the more important and then when you have had enough experience you can try in top companies. Mean while you can do your higher studies in distance or you can do some diploma courses if you prefer, it will be a added advantage dude.

so the only thing I want to tell to all the engineering graduates who have the same problem is that first gain the real time knowledge don't see at salaries once you get that experience then you will be a king ..........

prepare for indian engineering service and bsnl jto....they don't require any cut off percentage in graduation..

Now a days most of the MNC Companys offers atleast 60% in higher qualification.if you don't have in 10th,10+2 level they don't mind.my friends also having 59.65.but they don't accept.don't worry you will try..if you have more knowledge on technical skills&communication skills some times they will accept.small or big company whatever it may be deffinatly u have to get good job.based on the work experiance you will try top MNC company.

hi dont worry about percentage marks, after completing ur course you will try small companies they not ask high percentage,,, after getting experience u will try mnc companies ,,,

I think you should move in different field because in real most of the company demands above 60% marks in graduation for engineer.And in these days there are lots of engineer with 60% are jobless .that is why i am telling you to move in different field such as in banking sector you could search for job

Mechanical engineers are always an evergreen one. They need not to worry about their career. and in for your case, their are very indian companies like wipro, satyam which has no percentage creteria.

ASi know you will have to appear AIEEE or State CET if you aspire for engg.
Their are also collegies in UP and Bihar not required to appear for entrance exam you get admission directly.


how you perform in interview that only matters.
yes but you are appearing in campus interview that companies asked normally about your percentage because every companies

hey frnd dnt worry...nw days top mnc's are recruting candidates by their knowledge not by percentage try to passed company exam and u defntly get better job...and u can also join any small organization for getting experience and after getting 3 to 5 years experience u can get your dreem job..

hey will it be crucial for placements if u've maintainted more than 60 percentage in engineering and 10 th but not in 12th?

Do not worry friend
It is really important lowest criteria for any company is 60% in BE/Btech ..
but only few companies take students less than 60% ...
so you try for job and also try to crack MBA entrance exam
like MAT,CAT it is helpful for your carrier

Hello Friends Please suggest me as I am very much in need of an answer..... I have scored 76% in tenth; inter- 80%; B.Sc- 58%. I have been under training in Satyam for 5 months on Testing.... and later couldnt go further as I have a low percentage. Is that true that 55% is okay for Andhra University student? and will I get job in some othr company other than dis....coz after I uploaded my Resume in Monster I ve got calls from consultancies which later found out to be fake!!!...... I am worried about it...Plz help me!!
