B.E/B.Tech in mechanical engineering is one of the good higher study options. You can join to 2nd year of engineering through lateral entry. Universities often conducts lateral entry entrance test for admission. Calicut University, Thapar University, etc offers lateral entry admissions. Candidates with a minimum of 60% marks at diploma level can apply. You can also look for PG Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
