Dear Sir,
My name is Disha . I am a T.Y.BMS (bachelor of management studies) student.I have an experience of 11 months in an import export firm and 3 months of experience in a company as a business administrative head.I am planning to have a government job after my final year.
Kindly help me by letting me know about the criteria to be eligible for government job.Please suggest me as per my sector as i have a knowledge working in marketing sector and what could i pursue in government job after my final year.I would be kindly waiting for your reply.

The criteria of getting a job with govt. of India varies according to the position you are applying for. As you are a pursuing graduate student you are eligible for almost all the test provided you are within the age limit. In some case even there is a minimum limit of your aggregate percentage. As per getting a job after your final year you should keep yourself updated by reading the employment news, also register yourself with employment exchange. As and when you come across vacancies in sector of your choice then you can fill the form to appear for the written test conducted by the respective department of indian government. As you have not stated the choice of the field you are interested in so its difficult to guide you precisely as there are several opening in govt. sector every year. Banking,education,railway to name a few. You can also refer the website: www.employmentnews.gov.in to keep track of vacancies and exam dates in various openings with the govt. sector.

though you have experience but they are not big enough to give you over edge.
Also with huge competition in MBA, company prefer MBA as they have good number of people available for it.

Criteria for government job in general requires atleast 60% in your graduation.

You should post your resume on various job portals. Whenever, they comp across any job matching your profile, they will inform you or the company would directly contact you
