Re: Is distance education invalid in MNC companies? Which is better between B.Tech and MCA?
There are some criteria for each and every company recruiting students..
**So depending on those criteria it is seen that most of MNCs offer jobs for students who have done in regular basis... But there may have some companies those offer jobs to guys like you... Most of all they need knowledgeable students who can work efficiently with their company..so if you have depth in your core/basic subjects..you shouldn't be worry to get a job...Now and then you will get a job in an MNC... But according to me,chances are more for regular students..and they also can get campus placement that you couldn't.. ***Now Between MCA and B.Tech.... MCA is good as you have done BCA.. But you know in MCA you will learn only Computer subjects but in B.Tech you will be taught different subjects of different streams...also some management subjects..that will make you more comfortable in any big company..you can easily cope up with their needs... And till now B.Tech students get more job than MCA... So B.Tech is more preferable.. Now it's all up to you which to take as your future career.. best of luck... |

hello friend
well you might be knowing that in any company whether mnc or govt. sector , preferance is given to students who done courses from regular............ well since you have done BCA means you already have a bachelor's degree.. doing b.tech is not correct according to me since it is also a bachelor;'s degree. so according to me go for MCA which will surely give you a good job and a status of post graduate.... best of luck |

Re: Is distance education invalid in MNC companies? Which is better between B.Tech and MCA?
Dear all,
No MNC/IT company will allow distance/correspondence mode degree candidates, especially in India. Can anyone list out few company name those recognize distance mode? You will get no names... My prompt request to indian govt that, please notify IT/MNC comapny to hire those who have done thier degree through distance mode.. Let, company test the candidate expertise and give chance to these candidates also... Else remove this distance mode system and save the indian youths life. |

Re: Is distance education invalid in MNC companies? Which is better between B.Tech and MCA?
Recently I have attended the interview at one of the indian IT/MNC and got placed in experience. After reviewing my profile they found I have done 10th as correspondence course and but 12th(2006) is regular followed by B.E(2011) regular as well . Even Though, they rejected my profile saying we wont consider any part-time/correspondence course. If it was like that stop offering any open course to youth and fool them. It was the biggest upset I got from IT/MNC and that too from Indian IT companies.

Re: Is distance education invalid in MNC companies? Which is better between B.Tech and MCA?
It is basically the regular course, which have more chances on bringing you the job than distance education. For MNC's, they actually have there own choices. When taking freshers, different companies ask for different criterias. So, it is not always the regular course, but it is valued by most companies.
I my opinion, B.tech is better than MCA. The basic thing is that B.tech is almost the same as MCA. But MCA will require you to study like 6 years for completing the UG and the PG, whereas for B.tech it would be just 4 years. |
