i want to know whether B certificate in NCC will have any reservation for GATE exam? please answer my question

Regarding m.tech, colleges take through GATE score.
you have to score through it .
Quota is there under sc,st,obc, nothing else.

No, NCC have no reservation for GATE exam. They only provide reservation for SC/ST/PD Certificate and Disability Certificate.

I want to tell you that the Reservation will be made for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes only. So, the NCC has no reservation for GATE exams.

As far as reservation of seats are concerned, there are no reservations at the GATE exam-level; it is rather applicable for categories as per norms and policies prevailing at the admitting institution level and Govt. of India rules.

Coming to categories that can benefit from seat reservations, SCs have 15%, STs have 7.5%, OBC (non-creamy layer) have 27% and PD 3%. 2 seats are available for preferential allotment in each institute for children of defence/paramilitary personnel killed or permanently disabled in action during
war or peacetime operations (DS category).

No there is no reservation for NCC students.
Its only for SC,ST and OBC students.

The following is the eligibility require in the gate examination and I don't think that it contains any reservation for NCC candidates. Only the reservation in age will be given and in marks to the students belonging to the lower castes.

The candidates with following academic background are eligible to appear in GATE 2009 Examination:

Bachelor's degree holders Engineering/ Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.

Master degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.



Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master's degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology or in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master's degree programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology.

Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognised by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed Section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.status.

It is also true that any defence service also need NCC c certificate holders.

no there is no resevation for NCC cadets in GATE there is quota in armed forces and also in AIEEE.
you can try for them.but not in GATE.

You have asked a very good question. There is no reservation for the NCC certificate holders in GATE. As you are NCC 'B' certificate holders try to get 'C' certificate and then you can get direct entry in the defense.

In GATE exam the reservation is only for SC/ST/OBC and Physically Handicapped candidates

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC and Physically Handicapped candidates will be applicable as per Govt. of India/State concerned existing rules.

Sorry their is no such quota in GATE like NCC .or NCC certification.

Such quota is only in the army ,NDA & CDS recruitment.

Unfortunately in India, there is no reservation for NCC candidates in GATE exam. If you belong to SC/St or OBC you could be lucky.
But so far no reservation for NCC cadets. You have get selected on the basis of merit!

NCC Certificate has no mean in GATE Exam. There is no such reservation of NCC. Apart from OBC, SC, ST and PH candidates, no candidate is given reservation.
• 27% reservation - OBC
• 22.5% reservation - SC
• 7% reservation - ST
