SIR, I AM S.SATISH, my qualification is actually MS.c. chemistry in agriculture. Can i be considered eligible for Ap Slet 2016 exam or not?

Eligibility for AP SLET::

**Applicants appearing in the final year of their Post Graduation exam may also apply for this exam.

Eligibility Criteria for State Level Eligibility test:

*Master's degree from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for examination.

*You must have scored at least 55% marks in master's degree and 5% marks relaxation for reserved category candidates.

Yes, you are eligible for AP SLET exam 2016.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for SLET exam 2016. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

There is no age criteria.

SLET stands for State Level Eligibility Test.
It is conducted by all State Government and some universities too for lectureship only.
Those candidates who have qualified SLET can apply for lecturer post.

Candidate who have completed Masters degree in any disciple from a recognized university with more than 55% marks are eligible to appear in SLET.
Candidates appearing in final examination of Master degree program are also eligible.
Minimum required marks for SC/ST in Master degree program to appear in SLET is 50%.
There is no provision for rounding of marks.
The validity of SLET certificate is forever.
Also, there is no limit to appear in SLET and candidates can appear as many times as they want as candidates can avail any number of chances.
As mentioned, you have completed M.Sc Chemistry in agriculture then you appear for SLET if you have more than 55% marks in M.Sc.
You can appear for SLET under Chemical Science.

AP SET is the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test which is conducted for the selection of candidates in the various universities and colleges for the recruitment it is mandatory and as you have done your M.Sc post graduation you are eligible for the AP SET examinations

Through this SET examination you will be short listed for the Assistant professors and lecturers in the universities and degree colleges in the AP state.

There are no age requirements and number of attempts for the the SET examination a candidate can appear at any age and can and any number of times for the SET examination

A candidate can take up the examination by filling the online application for the SET examination and then take the examination in that year.


There are no eligibility criteria and both the Graduates and Post graduates who have experience in teaching field or who doesnot have experience in teaching field are also eligible for the SET examination

Yes, you will be eligible for AP SLET 2016 exam after completing PG degree.

Eligibility for AP SLET 2016 exam :-

-The candidate should have completed Masters degree or equivalent examination with at least 55% of marks (without rounding off) from universities / institutions recognized by UGC. Final year appearing student can also apply for the exam.

-The candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories must have secured at least 55% of marks (without rounding off) in Masters degree.

-There is no age limit to apply for the exam.

A candidate is declared as AP SLET passed or qualified if he/she secures 60% or more marks in the AP SLET exam.There is no negative marking for the exam.

Andhra Pradesh State Level Eligibility Test (APSLET) is conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad every year for the selection of lecturers and assistant professors.

● Eligibility criteria :
--> Candidate with post graduation degree or candidate who is in final year of post graduation degree is eligible.

--> Candidate must have minimum 55% in PG course. 5% concession for SC/ST/PH category candidates.

--> It is must for the candidates to be appeared in the SET with the same subjects as they have in the Post Graduation. If they will not find their subject in the list of SET subjects, they should attend the UGC – NET/ UGC – CSIR NET.

--> There is no any upper age limit.

--> There is also no limit to attempt this exam.

So, you are definitely eligible for APSLER after MS.c. chemistry in agriculture.
