Re: Eligibility criteria to become a Pilot in Indian Air Force?
Hey friend,
Your question is not complete as you have just asked for what is the eligibility for joining in Indian Air Force but you have not mentioned your qualification possessing to be telling what you are eligible or what is the required qualification which you need to possess. Anyways i could tell you the minimum qualification which you need to possess in order to join in Indian Air Force so that you can write the entrance exam and join The minimum qualification needed as per the education qualification is that the candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education with Physics and Mathematics as subjects. The age limit needed is that you need to have 16 1/2-19 years of age. If you are possessing all these above mentioned criteria's then you can apply for the NDA exam as you will be eligible. Apart from this exam there are certain other exams which you can write but for writing them you need to have completed a degree and age limit will be differing as per the exams. The other possible exams which you could opt is the CDS Exam and AFCAT Exam ALL THE BEST |

Re: Eligibility criteria to become a Pilot in Indian Air Force?
Initially, one needs to obtain a student pilot license (SPL) from a government sponsored fly club in the country. The minimum eligibility sponsored for the SPL is the matriculation examination, and your age should be above 16 years. An oral examination has to be taken in subjects related to aviation. Before being permitted to start flying, one must acquire a private pilot license (PPL). Flying includes overall 60 hours of flying, with cross-country and solo flying. In addition, individual have to pass theoretical examinations in subjects such as air regulations, air navigations, aviation meteorology and aircraft engines. A commercial pilot license (CPL) can be obtained only after acquiring a PPL. Flying club equipped to provide a practical complement of the training for the CPL, which includes a further 190 hours of flying experience. |
