Hello sir, I have completed M.Com and want to do Ph.D. Eligibility criteria to do Ph.D in Commerce from JNU, Delhi? Admission procedure in JNU for Ph.D?

JNU does not provide admission to Ph.d in commerce stream. If you want to apply P.hd in commerce stream then you need to apply in Delhi University.

Eligibility Criteria & Entrance Exam
<< Candidate must have secured 55% marks in M.com from a recognized university where 5% relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates.
<< If a candidate have cleared UGC-NET exam then he need not to sit in the entrance exam conducted by university.
<< If a candidate has already registered himself for the full time program course anywhere then he /she is not allowed to apply for Ph.d

Two mode of admission is done
1>> Entrance test mode.
* Written examination will be conducted in month of March and April.
* Those who will qualify written exam need to prepare research proposal and need to submit seven copies of research proposal with P.hd form.
* Based on the outcome of research proposal final merit list of selected candidates will be done. Selected candidates will be called after approval of board.

2>> Direct mode of admission.
* Candidate who have qualified JRF exam need not to sit in the entrance exam.
* Candidate need to prepare the research proposal and need to submit it on time.
* Candidate will be selected based on the proposal idea and board final merit list.
