I have secured 71% in class 12 but I have scored only 49 marks in maths, I have completed Bsc IT with 9 cgpa Can I apply for nimcet exam

NIMCET examination is conducted for admission in MCA in NITs and other institutions.
The eligibility is that candidate must have scored atleast minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% aggregate relaxation for reserved category. So, you are eligible to apply for the examination. |

NIMCET Eligibility Criteria 2021
Students who have completed/ are completing B.Sc./ B.Sc. (Hons)/BCA/ BIT of 3 years from Open Universities are also eligible to apply provided the programme is approved by UGC / AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India. Candidates in the last year of their Bachelor’s programme are also eligible to apply for NIMCET 2021. However, such candidates must provide their proof of passing before the specified last date. |

Minimum marks - 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
The candidate must be an Indian. Minimum educational qualification: B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects (candidates from open universities are also eligible) |

The basic qualification required for appearing in NIMCET 2021 is B.Sc./ B.Sc. (Hons)/BCA/ BIT of 3 years with at least 60% marks in aggregate (or 6.5 CGPA) from recognized university provided the programme is approved by UGC / AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India. Candidates having pursued B.E./B.Tech degree are also eligible.
So, having completed your B.Sc. in IT degree with 9 CGPA, you are certainly eligible for appearing in NIMCET 2021. |
