Eligibility to write CBSE 10th board exam 2017
My brother's DOB is 03/11/2003 & presently he is in 9th Class(session 2016-2017). And next year (session 2017-2018) he will be in 10th class. So is she is eligible to appear in CBSE 10th Board written Exam in session 2017-2018. Pls reply soon as possible.

Eligibility to write CBSE 10th board exam 2017:-
The age for CBSE 10th board is 15 years. The appearing student has to be his or her 15 years when he or she is appearing in his or her class 10th board examination. Any student who has not attained an age of 5 years will not get admission in class first. You have to ensure that your ward is between 15-16 years of age at the time of writting the class 10th examination. |

The minimum age criteria for 10th with CBSE Board candidate should attained the age of 14 years at the time of admission. In case candidates could not attained the age of 14 years then they have to submit a medical certificate. By submitting a medical certificate they can appear in the 10th exam. Thanks

There is no any age limit to appear for the 10th board examination as per CBSE.
The age limit to appear for the 10th examination varies with state as the Directorates of State government makes the minimum age limit to appear for examination. So, kindly visit the school to get the detail about the age limit to appear for examination. |

CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education.
Eligibility to write CBSE 10th board exam 2017 - The candidate must have passed 9th class. -The candidate minimum age limit to appear in the CBSE 10th board exam is in between 14 to 15 years. There is no upper age limit. The candidate must have completed 14 years of age on or before 31st December of the preceding year of the exam. |

--> To be eligible for appearing in CBSE Class 10th board examination 2018 ( for the session 2017-18 ) i.e; ( All Indian Secondary School Examination, AISSE ) you must have qualifications given below :-
* You must have qualified your Class 9th with at least grade D i.e; with CGPA 4. * You must have attainted at least 75% of your classes with your age must being atleast 14 years by the 1st October 2017. You being born on 3/11/2003, your brother is not eligible for appearing in AISSE 2018 as your brothers age will be under 14 years by 31st October 2017 which is not as per the CBSE norms for appearing in AISSE.
