Dear Aspirant!

Being a 4th year Electrical Engineering you are legible to apply for IAS post.

To get IAS officer post, you have to crack Civil Service Examination which is conducted by UPSC.

IAS:- INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE
UPSC:- UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION



AGE limit for Civil Service Exam:

-21 to 30 years for general category candidates.

-21 to 33 years for obc category candidates.

-21 to 35 years for st/sc category candidates.



Number of Permissible Attempts for IAS Exam:

-4 for General category candidates.

-7 for OBC category candidates.

-Unlimited for SC/ST category candidates.




UPSC Civil Service Exam has divided into three Stages:

>>Prelim or CSAT(Civil Service Aptitude Test)
>>Main Exam(Written Test)
>>Personnel Interview

yes you are eligible for IAS exam.

eligibility
1]age must be between 21 to 30 years.

2]atleast completed bachelor degree in any stream.

3]you must be an indian citizen.

I'm 4th year b.tech student with branch electrical & electronics engineering, so I want be an IAS officer. therefore I want syllabus individually for preliminary exam, mains and interview. and what will we have given entrance exam for this?

sir plz tell me the syllabus for b.tech eee students is same or different for the normal degree students.
