Applications invited for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for the Courses commencing Jan 2012 for grant of Permanent/ Short Service Commission in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty branches.

Last date for receipt of applications: 22 February 2011
Date of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT): 27 March 2011

For Previous years paper:
The entrance test will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general awareness and aptitude.

Attached some of the previous model papers of AFCAT in this post... kindly check it over.. just go through and find out the pattern of questions asked and prepare accordingly... hope it helps for your preparation...

AFCAT-28th August-2011 paper format was:
Q:1-4= Reading Comprehension
Q:5-9= Correct the incorrect Grammar
Q:10-14= Chose the word from the options to complete the sentence
Q:15-17= Synonyms
Q:18-20= ANtonyms
Q:21-40= General Awareness
Q:41-60= Numerical Ability
Q:61-80= Analogy
Q:81-90= Number Series
Q:91-100= Figures and puzzles
Each correct Ques. carries 3 marks (Toral= 300 marks)
Each wrong answer will get -1 marks.
