Future options for life science students?
hello.
i am doing my graduation in life sciences can nybody tell me wht can i opt for career?? can i go for masters in biotecnology???what future possibilities can i get in that?? |

You mean you are doing BSc in Biotechnology. So you can ofcourse do either your MTech or MBA after graduation.
But if you just want to be in life sciences course then opt for MSc in Biotech. There are lots of opportunities in MSc in biotech like many companies are hiring biotech professional for pharma type of companies. You can even land up in a teaching job in some good institution |

hi your future is even more brighter....you can choose biotechnology and after that even better you can do MS IMMUNOLogy in usa (missisipi university)... so that you can get into the research line ... so you can step for future.... good luck

Hello friend,
If you are doing B.Tech in biotechnology you can further go for Master's in this. i.e M.Tech in biotech. These days there are so many options after B.tech in biotechnology. You can choose to go for M.Sc in clinical research or MBA in pharma management. so there are huge scopes as you can prefer to work in managerial posts or indulge yourself in R&D sector also. Keep going with the course you are proceeding...and give your best. Good luck! |

Life Science students can have number of opportunities like biomedical research, Microbiologist, Oncologist. They can also work as space scientists, plant pathologists, taxonomist, lab technicians, Genetic engineers, faculty etc…

there is biotech evolving test for life science students.
you have to go through their entrances and with you masters marks which should be above 60%,you can vie for admission. they take a interview too. search at their homesite. |

thank you for your reply...but i am doin bsc in lyfsciece....so can i opt for msc in biotecnology...nd can u tell me that should i go for studies in abroad as there are more facilities available there......what are the exams i have to give for takin msc in biotech?????what are the other options for me.... |

as u r doing bsc in life sc. then obviously u can do Msc. in biotechnology.. there is a huge scope of getting a job in this trade. there are some company those are hiring students who have done msc. in biotechnology. so u may go for it. all the best. |

as you have interest is in Life science you should have a dream of being a Doctor. for this after 12th you have to sit in WBJEE to take admission in MBBS,B.Pharm, Dental, homeopathy etc.. besides those AIPMT etc... Good luck. |

I've completed my M.Sc in Biochemistry with 73% marks from Vidyasagar university & I've completed Chemistry hons from calcutta university with 51% marks.If I'll qualify GATE then shall I appy for Ph.D in kolkata's famous institutions?

if you are a student of PCM then you can do b.tech,b.s.c,b.s.c(honors),b.s.c(agri),b.pharma. and if you are a student of PCB then you are eligible for b.s.c(nursing),m.b.b.s,b.d.s,b.a.m.s,b.h.m.s |
