Your wordings are pretty confusing. I am not sure whether you are looking at a job in a CHA company or you yourself want to become a CHA.

I am guessing that you meant the latter part, so the path for you is as follows:

In order to build a career in the field of CHA, you first need the licence, which is awarded after passing the Exam conducted by Indian Customs, GOI.

Eligibility: You must meet any one of the following criteria
1. Anyone of PGDM/MBA/LLB/CA/Diploma in Custom Clearance
2. G card holders with 3 years experience can apply
3. Class A officers

After clearing this hurdle you need to study hard for a written test and an oral test/interview. Both the tests are of 100 marks each and have a 50% passing marks requirement.

I have completed my MBA in operations management.. i would like to know the details about how to apply for CHA exam? when is the last date to apply for CHA exam for the year 2016? am i a eligible candidate since i dont have any work experience?

To apply for CHA exam you have to fill up the form available from Customs office in your city. Last date is not yet declared but it is on November. Yes your are eligible as you have completed MBA. Work experience is not mandatory.

I have completed my bachelor of engineering in computer science, I dont have any experience in this filed practically but theoretically i know enough, so am i eligible to take CHA exam?

Eligibility criteria
1. Professionals with education qualification of any of the following - MBA/PGDBM/PG in Accounting or Finance or Management / LLM
2. Bachelor with G card and experience of 2 years in G card related work
