You can not appear in the IAS exam after 12th std.
because the minimum qualification required for IAS exam is
graduation and the age must be between 21 to 30 years.
So i advise you to first do graduation course after completing
12th std and then apply for IAS exam.
For more information about this exam please see the official

After 12th class you cannot become IAS as for that you need to be at-least graduate!!

So i suggest you to continue your studies now at this stage...

for IAS exam as any Graduate from a recognised university or a college in India is the minimum eligibility criteria for IAS.
He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing in the UPSC held Civil Services Examination.

UPSC conduct CIVILSERVICE exam for top service like IAS,IPS,IFS and for other government jobs.Even this onwards the pattern of exam also changed as it doesnot have any special subject and the paper will be same for all the candidates.

BEFORE TELLING ABOUT IAS I WANT TO TAKE TO YOUR NOTICE THAT YOU NEED ATLEAST ONE DEGREE FROM ANY INDIAN UNIVERSITIES TO GET ELIGIBLE FOR WRITING I.A.S OFFICER
Becoming an IAS (Indian Administrative Services) officer is done though the “UPSC held Civil Services” examination!

If you are interested in becoming an IAS officer, you probably know what the IAS is all about and why becoming an IAS officer is a very good career option. However, just incase you do not know, let me give you some quick information on IAS!

If you become an IAS officer, you become part of the Indian Administrative Service. You will be part of the Govt.

Being an IAS officer, there is a lot more power and control you have so that you can be part of Emerging India!

However, getting into the IAS is not that easy! There is a very competitive “one year long” exam! To get into the IAS, you probably will have to try more than once before you succeed. And even if you clear the exam, then you have to get a very good score to qualify for the IAS

eligibility criteria:

I. Academic Eligibility
The candidate must possess a degree from an Indian University or an educational institution deemed as a University or possess an equivalent qualification. Those in the final year of a degree course can also appear in the Preliminary Examination.

II. Other Eligibility Conditions

1. For the IAS and the IPS, the candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. For the other services, a candidate must be either:

* a citizen of India, or
* a subject of Nepal, or
* a subject of Bhutan, or
* a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
* a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

iii. The candidate must have attained 21 years of age on August 1st of the year of examination and must not have attained 30 years of age on that date. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. The upper age limit is also relaxed in favor of certain categories of civil servants working under the Government of India and Defense Services Personnel.

These are the Govt. stated eligibility criteria. If you come under these, you can give the exam.

* If you belong to the “Open Category” you can give the exam 4 times maximum!
* If you belong to the “OBC” you can give the exam 7 times.
* If you belong to the “SC/ST” you can give the exam as many times as you want. There is no restriction on the number of times!

The following cities have exam centers:

* Agartala
* Gangtok
* Panaji ( Goa )
* Ahmedabad
* Hyderabad
* Patna
* Aizawl
* Imphal

UPSC-IAS

Introduction

The Indian Administrative Service (IAS) is the administrative civil service of the executive branch of the Government of the Republic of India.

The officers of the IAS play a major role in managing the bureaucracy of both the Union Government (Central Government) and the state governments, with its officers holding strategic posts across the country. It is one of the three All India Services.

Exam Pattern

Civil Service Exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. It has three stages Preliminary Exam, a Main exam, and an interview.

Recently the preliminary exam pattern has been changed.

Now there will be no optional subjects in the preliminary examination. Instead there will be a second paper which will be common for all candidates.

It will check the administrative aptitude of candidates-hence its name - the Civil Service Aptitude Test [CSAT].It comprises of Aptitude, General Mathematics,Comprehensive English, etc.

Number of attempts

Repeated attempts are allowed up to four times for General Merit candidates, seven times for OBC candidates. There is no bar on the number of attempts for SC/ST candidates.

Age limit

The upper age limit to attempt the examination is 35 for SC/ST,33 for OBC and 30 years for the rest. The candidate mustn't be 30 year till 1st August that year. The minimum age is 21 years.

Academic Eligibility for IAS Exams

A degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be a Deemed University under the UGC Act, 1956, or an equivalent qualification.

Candidates who have appeared or intend to appear for the qualifying examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear for the Preliminary Examination.

Candidates with professional and technical qualifications recognised by the Government as equivalent to professional and technical degrees.

Candidates who have passed the final year of MBBS or any Medical Examination but are yet to complete the internship can also appear for the Main Examination.

IAS demands graduation as minimum qualification,so after 12th it is not possible to appear for UPSC exam.

for ias first you have to decide in which subjects you are strong and like most.
then complete your graduation in these subjects .
and also read daily news paper and magzines(frontline) regularly for current affairs and solve reasioning and logical problems regularly with high speed.
also minimum eligibility criteria for ias is graduation and 21 gears age minimum and maximum age 30 years for general student.
so work hard in your graduation for clearing the IAS.

Dear,

I am happy that you are thinking of becoming an IAS officer as it is one of the most

prestigious and reputed things to do.

But sorry to tell you that you are now not eligible for the IAS examination because of the

following reasons:-

1.) The minimum educational qualification required is to be a graduate.

2.) Age limitation is between 21-30 years with 5 years and 3 years relaxation for the

SC/ST candidates and OBC categories respectively.

3.) You need to clear the CSAT exam conducted by the UPSC in order to sit for the

IAS examination.

But don't worry after you get all these qualifications , you can go for the IAS examination

But start preparing for it from now onwards.

Reading newspapers as well as various educative books are quite useful.

For more details , visit the following official website:-

http://www.upsc.gov.in/.

Thanks.

choosing science without maths have less scope when compare withscience with maths.
choosing science in 11th, after completion of your 12th class you can apply for professional course MBBS only.
but if you choose maths with science you can apply for both MBBS and BE.

apart from professional courses you can also do bachelors degree in various sciences and seek for government jobs.
i would suggest you to take biology physics chemistry mathematics group in 11th class..
all the best
