I have complited H.S.C may i become an police sub inspector?

Hi,

To become a Sub Inspector under state police department under resident state.

>>>Eligibility :

Must be a Graduate in any stream.

age limits are:

21 to 36 years (Age relaxation applicable for reserves categories).

>>>Physical standards :

Height:

Men-165 cms.

Women-150 cms.

Chest only for Male-76 cms(expansion)

Vision:

6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in another eye.

You are not Eligible to appear for the exam

as you have just completed HSC ( Higher Secondary Education ) .. you are not eligible to appear for the exam

SO to be eligible .. you must have to complete "" GRADUATION "" from a recognized university


so usually the Graduation may be of the Any stream

The minimum age must be " 21 " years

Maximum age is allowed up to " 30 " years

Of course there will be an age relaxation for the reserved candidates


For OBC -- 3 Years

For SC / ST -- 5 years

For General --- Candidates there is no age relaxation

You must be an Indian Citizen

Eligibility criteria for Police Sub Inspector:

Candidate Should have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

Age limit:
Candidate age must be lie between 20 to 28 years.

5 years age relaxation for SCs/STs

Ex-Servicemen: within 3 years from the date of discharge subject to a maximum of 45 years.

Physical Standard:

(Men) Minimum height:
General candidate :170cms.
SC/ST candidate: 167 cms.

Women Minimum height:
General candidate: 159cms.
SC/ST candidate: 157cms.

Chest : 81cms when Unexpanded and 86 cms when expanded.
