hi this is sarika. i am 31 years old. I am post graduate( M.Co.). I want to know if i can get job in govt bank, if yes then how.

You have adequate educational qualifications for bank clerk/P.O. But upper age limit for bank P.O/Specialist Officer is 30 years. If you belong to reserved category, you can have age relaxation. OBC candidates can have 3 year age relaxation where as SC/ST can have at most 5 year age reduction. You can apply for jobs in cooperative banks under state government.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for banking examinations.

But, if, you belong to SC/ST and OBC category, then you are eligible for banking examinations.

Banking examinations are conducted by both SBI(State Bank of India) and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel Selection).

SBI and IBPS examinations are conducted for the Clerk and PO posts.

The eligibility criteria required for the banking examinations are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognized college or university.

* Age limit:- 20-30 yrs for IBPS PO;
21-30 yrs for SBI PO;
18-28 yrs for SBI and IBPS Clerk.

* Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST and 10 yrs for PWD contendors.

* Nationality:- Indian.

The selection procedure for the banking examinations is mentioned as below:-

* Written examination.

* GD(Group Discussion) for SBI only.

* Interview.

The syllabus for the banking examinations is mentioned as below:-

* Reasoning.

* General Awareness.

* English.

* Quantitative Aptitude.

* Computer/Marketing.

To get bank jobs, you will have to appear for Bank exams(Clerical and PO), organized by SBI and IBPS every year.

The educational qualifications regarding with banking exams are below mentioned:-

* Opponents must have finished bachelor degree in any curriculum from any approved institution.

* Opponents of last year aren't preferable for this exam.

* The age criteria must be lie in between 18-28 years(Clerical).

sir/mam i have 30 years ( 1984 feb ) old, i request to you pls give me age limit for BC-B reservation ( OBC ) for any type of Govt jobs or Bank jobs.Qualification is PG (M com ).
