i have passed 8th class, i want to join indian army....please tell me how to do it

dear friends

you can not join Indian army after 8th class.
but after 12th standard,
you can join army by applying NDA exam.
nda exam stands for national defence academy which is conducted by upsc twice in a year.
by using this exam,
you can join army,navy and air force wing.

nda exam eligibility;
- 1-you must be passed 12th standard from a recognized board

. 2-age limit is 16.5-19 years,

3-you must be unmarried male and Indian citizen

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for the Indian army after completing 8th class. You are eligible after 12th standard.

To join indian army you can apply for the NDA exam. NDA stands for National Defence Service. This exam conduct Union Public Service Commission Twice in a year.

NDA has following three wings:

Indian Army
Indian Air force
Navy

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:



You should have pass the 10+2 in any recognized Uneversity.

No percentage required for this exam.

Your age limit should 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam.

Female candidates are not eligible for this exam.

You should be a citizen of india to applicable for this exam.

You cannot join Indian Army after class 8th, but you should complete atleast class 12th to apply for NDA exam for Indian Army.

NDA- National Defence Academy

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC for 12th pass apllicant for entry in Indian Army.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam

Minimum 12th pass with physics and maths from a recognised board.

Age between 16.5 - 19 years.

Candiadte should be male and unmarried.

So, complete the required education and then you can apply for the exam and pursue your dream.

If you want to become an army first you need to crack the NDA exam this exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year.
