How to convert 8.7 CGPA into percentage for BE graduate?


Dear Sir, I want to apply for IBPS recruitment. I have completed my BE course and would like to know about that how I can calculate my BE percentage as I have secured 8.7 CGPA in my BE. Kindly help me to know about this.

CGPA or Cumulative grade points average is a grade point system in education.


CGPA = (Percentage of marks + 7.5 ) / 10


Percentage of marks = (CGPA x 10) -7.5


Your percentage = (8.7 x 10) - 7.5 =79.5 %
