dear friend,
interests can never be wrong. only if you have deep affection to achieve something, you would be interested in that. so if you are interested in biotechnology, then go ahaed with that as Biotechnology is a combination of biology and technology that allows scientists to alter cells to manipulate them as needed. In practical application, this means that scientists can use genetic technology to develop treatments for diseases and to beneficially alter the genetics of humans as well as other life forms.
and since in 12th you have taken Bio as your main subject, so this would be an apt option for you, if you are not interested in medicine or any other field related to medicine like the nursing, etc.
but then, what i suggest you is to take up b.tech in biotechnology, instead of bsc.
there are some engineering colleges which do not ask for maths subject for entering into b.tech in biotechnology. some of the colleges coming under this category are:
All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi .
B.Tech Biotechnology
Class XII with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Entrance test of AIIMS
Duration of 4 years

University Of Rajasthan , Jaipur.
Website: www.uniraj.org
B.Tech in biotechnology
Entrance test of PET
Class XII [Sciences.]
3 years duration

Visverswaraih Technological University, Karnataka.
Website: www.vtu.ac.in
B.Tech Biotechnology
Class XII, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Gulbarga University, Jnana ganga, Gulbarga-585106, Andhra Pradesh.
Website:
www.gulbargauniversity.kar.nic.in
B.Sc Biotechnology
Class XII [Sciences.]
3 years

Amity Institute Of Biotechnology, New Delhi
Website:www.amity.edu
B.Sc Biotechnology
10+2 with 50% marks and Biology as a subject. Entrance test.
3years

bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune
Website: www.bharatividyapeeth.com
B.Sc Biotechnology
Class XII [Sciences.]
3years

Banasthali Vidyapeeth. P.O. Banasthali Vidyapeeth. -304022
Website:
www.bansthali.org
B.Sc/B.Sc(Hon) Biotechnology
Class XII [Sciences.]
3years.

well these are some of the colleges. but, first focus on your 12th board, score well, aim a college and start preparing its entrance. be confident in your approach. All the very best. God bless you.

Biotechnology is a very good subject. it has a very good scope and job opportunity.

now you should appear in 12 examination. try to do more well in biology examination in 12. after 12 result collect from for admission in biotechnology from different institution. some colleges have entrance examination. then appear in the examination.

after that through counseling you will be able to take admission in the college with biotechnology subject where the biotechnology subject is available.

so now only concentrate on your 12 study. your biology marks in 12 will help you to get the admission in biotechnology.

best wishes.

If your interested in Biotechnology stream then go for it.

Since the minimum eligibility is HSC(Higher Secondary Certificate) with M.P.C(maths,physics,chemistry) or Bi.P.C(biology,physics,chemistry)
in 12th.So,your eligible for it.

If you want to enter into some private college then you don't need to attend written test for it.But,if you want to study in some University then an entrance test may be conducted because of the competition.A common entrance test is not conducted but the test may be conducted University wise depending upon the number of candidates willing to join.

In future you can go for MBA or else you can go for M.SC in biotechnology.

all the best
