in banking sec you cant do any kind of application programme here you can do just maintain the server and some networking job.

i am a student of bca but my c,c and java is not too good then what course i eill do next

Networking is not all that cheap an area of implementation, don't treat networking as "some networking job", it is rather the job that upholds the entire IT infrastructure of the bank...Anyways, I don't see many IT geeks from "application development" area that can appreciate the importance of the classical domains like Storage, Backup, Networking, Server administration etc...

I'm pursuing MCA,I would like to do the job in IT division in banking or steel plants i,e in the administrative dept.can u please mention me the opputunities available for us

ibps conducts specialist officer exam every year.through that exam they recruit the candidates for different fields like IT,Agriculture,law etc... again in IT there are different fields like networking,technical field officer,database manager etc.....
in the notification of ibps,he did not mention all these things but check out once sbi notification for the specialist officer in 2012.
