I am an engineering student . I scored 96% in 10 th and 12th board exam.
how ever i work hard i am getting only 83% in semester exam
what are the strategies should i follow to get above 95%
help me with this problem

you are doing well. continue the same thing.
Concentrate on subject don't worry about marks.
knowledge is important. Marks are not always important.

Anyways if you still feel that you can do much better in marks wise, then follow this.
Apart from your regular studing stategy, you also practice previous year question papers & then take yourself mock tests.
you can easily find previous papers from All in Ones, that are easily available in market. Do this. believe me this is significantly improve your score.
This requires to be regular in studies and little patience to practice for long hours.

You will surely do well.

Ok thats good spirit. But unlike the 10th and +2 exams ,bellow I have mentioned do's for getting 95% percent in enginnering
1) learn each and every concept meaningfully with intrest

2)do upto date study
3)refer the book as direction of your profesers
4)make self notes
5)revise the note periodically
6)solve all previous year's question paper
By Following all these steps you can fullfill your wish...........best of luck
