How to get in to get into IIST after 12th with 90%marks in the final?

Admission to IIST

IIST is one of the very few institutes in the world which offers various programmes related to space science. Those who are interested in studying such a prestigious institute have to clear a all India level aptitude test ISAT.

Eligibility Criteria : ISAT 2012

• Applicants should be Indian citizen.
• Minimum marks marks must be obtained is 70% for GEN/OBC candidates and 60% for SC/ST/PD candidates in both 10th and 12th standard board examination.
• GEN & OBC candidates should born on or after 1st Oct, 1987. There is 5 years relaxation on the maximum age limit for SC/ST/PD candidates.
• Year of appearance in QE exam should be 2011 or 2012.

ISAT-2012 is scheduled to be held on 21st April, 2012. Kindly note that online registration for ISAT-2012 will be starting from 1st Nov, 2011. Last date of online registration is 31st Dec, 2011. For this purpose visit http://www.iist.ac.in

To what extend AIEEE and ISAT are related in portions? Please compare the difficulty level between the two.
