NET Stands for National Eligiblity Test and the examination was Conducted by UGC Twice in a year and the examination was Held in June and December Every year and to apply for this examination you need to complete your Post graduation degree course with minimum 55% marks, Final year graduate candidates are also eligible for NET.

If you have already complete your Post graduate degree and scored minimum 55% marks, then you are eligible for NET Examination.

The Notification was already updated in UGC Website and the Registration was already started and the last date of apply for NET Examination was 25/Oct/2011.

The examination fees of NET Was Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through challan form in State bank of India and after paying the fees in SBI you are eligible for NET Examination, So Please download the given Challan performa and pay the fees soon in SBI Branch and then you are eligible to fill Online NET Application form.

The examination was Going to be held on 24/Dec/2011.

UGC exam is conducted in the month of JUNE 2012.The Test will consist of 3 session
like all the papers are objectives type.

Examination fee:-



General - 450/-

OBC - 250/-

SC/ST- 110/-

Genral Instruction for apply:-



) The candidates are required to download the Bank Challan Performa from the UGC website OR take photocopy from the UGC-NET Notification published in the Employment News and then deposit the requisite test fee in any branch of State Bank of India along with the bank charges (commission) of Rs.20/-.

ii) Before applying Online, the candidates must possess the following : (i) Scanned passport (pp) size photograph in JPEG format of less than 300 kb, (ii) Copy of Bank Challan (fee receipt).

iii) Candidate seeking admission to the Test must apply online (i.e. www.ugcnetonline.in OR through a link available on the UGC website: www.ugc.ac.in).

iv) After successful submission, the candidate should take printout of online Application Form (two copies), Attendance Slip (one copy) and Admission Card (one copy) on separate A-4 size papers.

v) SC/ST/PH/VH candidates and candidates belonging to OBC (non-creamy layer) (as per the Central list of OBC available on website : www.ncbc.nic.in) must enclose the attested copy of certificate for the same.

vi) Candidates seeking age relaxation must enclose the certificate of educational qualification/research experience entitling the candidates for age relaxation. (for details, please see item no. 4).

vii) The Application (consisting of two copies of printout of online application form, one copy of Attendance Slip and one copy of Admission Card) alongwith required documents (as mentioned in item No. 13) must reach the Registrar of the University (UGC Test Centre).

viii) Application received after 8th Nov. 2011 at the Test Centre will be rejected.

ix) Before applying Online, candidates are advised to go through detailed notification available on UGC website and also to be shortly published in the Employment News. Please note that Fee submitted through any other mode like Money Order, Demand Draft, IPO etc. will be summarily rejected.

x) The envelope containing the Application Form should be superscribed “UGC NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR LECTURESHIP, DECEMBER 2011”.

xi) The candidates must affix their recent identical passport size photographs, at the places indicated, on the printout of Online Application Form and must sign across the photograph after it is affixed so that a part of the signature spreads over the Application Form beyond the photograph. Besides, it should be duly attested by the Head of the University Department/Principal of the College/Class-I Gazetted Officer.

xii) In order to avoid last minute rush, the candidates are advised to apply early enough. UGC will not be responsible for network problems or any other problem of this nature.

NET Stands for National Eligibility Test .

Eligibility Criteria :-

Applicant who are completed Master degree with any desire subject from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and Applicant must secure at least 55% aggregate marks in your examination and 50% aggregate marks is given to the reserved categories.Those who are appearing in the final year of master degree may also eligible to apply.

This year notification was not declared but the notification will be publish in the month of May or April in the official website as well as employment news paper.

The Bank Challan was available in official website it self . So don't worry about when the notification will be released and then bank challan is available official website.The candidate can download and fill the application.

India (DLN): UGC Notification for National Eligibility Test December, 2011 has been issued. UGC NET Dec 2011 exam will be held on December 24, 2011for for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship. UGC Online applications for NET Dec 2011 are being invited.

Candidates applied for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), they will be eligible for research work and will also eligible for lectureship after qualifying the exam. Candidates applied for lectureship will not be considered for JRF after qualifying the exam.

Candidates should clearly state in the NET exam for what they are applying both JRF & Lectureship OR only for Lectureship.

Eligibility: PG candidates with 55% marks in Master’s Degree are eligible for this exam.

Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing in the final year of Master’s degree and whose result is still awaited may also apply for this Test.
